Winsor & Newton cold-pressed, slightly-textured 140 lb. watercolour paper is crafted in Italy with a mixture of 25% cotton and cellulose. The cotton fibres are internally and externally sized for optimal absorbency and extreme strength. The paper is ideal for most watercolour styles, gouache, pen and ink. It reflects light well while retaining a transparency of watercolors and its medium grain makes it suitable for all styles of watercolor painting. It's acid-free, archival and free of optical brighteners offering a natural whiteness of archival quality that does not yellow over time.
