W&N - Cotman Brush Series 111 Round

Designed specifically for use with water colour and water based media, these round headed brushes have good colour carrying capacity and hold a sharp point. A wide range of sizes are available in this popular series. In creating this range of pure synthetic brushes we apply the same skills, generated over 100 years, as those used in making the finest sable brushes. The secret of the Cotman Brush lies in the fibres, by blending synthetic fibres of differing thicknesses we achieve the three most important qualities sought after by the artist. The thicker fibres contribute strength and spring whilst the thinner fibres improve colour holding capacity. Together they retain a perfect point, time after time. A wide range of sizes and styles to suit all applications is available giving most of the qualities of sable at an economic price. The range features blue polished handles and seamless nickel plated ferrules. Suitable for use with water colour and all water and oil based media.
