Model Set Big Boy Locomotive

The mighty Big Boy locomotives were among the largest steam engines ever built, created by Union Pacific to haul heavy freight over the steep Wasatch Pass without helper engines. Built in two groups (1941 and 1944), they served until the late 1950s and remain icons of American railroading.
