Derwent 12 Pastel Pencil Tin Set

Pastel pencils have all the creativity of a pastel with the convenience and control of a pencil. A round 8mm diameter pencil with a wide 5 mm pastel strip. The pencils are a medium pastel, slightly chalky and able to achieve fine points. They have a soft powdery texture with a velvety smooth finish, ideal for mixing and blending and achieving fine lines required for detailed pastel studies. They have unique colour tones ranging from full strength colour to the palest tints. Each Pastel Pencil is coded with a colour name and number. A special code denotes the tint level. B = Full strength, D = Deep Tint, F = Medium Tint and H = Light Tint.
